Mr. Kuppenheimer oversees all aspects of FSI Capital’s business and investment portfolios. He also serves as Chief Executive Officer of FSI Securities, LLC, a registered broker-dealer; Managing Director of Trapeza Capital Management, LLC; and from 2007 through 2008, was Chief Executive Officer, President and Trustee of FSI Realty Trust. Prior to joining FSI, Mr. Kuppenheimer was Director and co-head of the US Structured Credit Products Group at Merrill Lynch with responsibility for CLOs, Trust Preferred CDOs, Structured Funds and New Products. Previously, he was responsible for Investment Grade Corporate CDOs at Credit Suisse First Boston, including trust preferred CDOs, synthetic CDOs and corporate bond CDOs. He began his career as an attorney for Brown & Wood, LLP in New York focused on structured credit derivative transactions. Mr. Kuppenheimer received an A.B., with Honors, in Philosophy from Colgate University and a J.D., with Distinction, from Emory University School of Law. At Emory, Mr. Kuppenheimer was an Executive Editor of the Emory International Law Review.
